Alpha Phis at UCLA represent a dynamic group of young women paving their way into successful futures through volunteering, social activities and academic excellence. Alpha Phis dance and cheer for the Bruins, row for the UCLA Crew Team, play hard for the UCLA Tennis Team, and kick butt on the soccer field! Not only are Alpha Phi women physically active, they are also active in student government, the Daily Bruin, and the local community. We look out for one another and rejoice in each other's accomplishments. The collection of friendships formed in Alpha Phi without a doubt last a lifetime!

Here at Alpha Phi, our members are truly exceptional on all fronts, and we hold each other accountable to ensure that each one of us exceeds expectations and realizes our true potential. Our mission statement reads ‘Alpha Phi is a sisterhood of women supporting one another in lifelong achievement,’ and this is practiced by every member, from the peaks and valleys of college to life long afterward. The journey of independence and growth through early adulthood can be nothing short of treacherous, and having a sisterhood as strong and as supportive as our own has made navigating life away from home a breeze. From weekend trips to in-house sleepovers and everything in between, the women in this home have shaped my college experience and made my time at UCLA so valuable.

At Alpha Phi, each one of us brings something exceptional to our sisterhood. Whether it be academic advice, research connections, or career opportunities, there is a member of our home who has experience in almost any major or career track you can imagine. The wealth of shared knowledge and expertise has led to opportunities such as research positions in neuroscience labs and internships at NASA being passed down to each new generation of Alpha Phis. I am constantly in awe of how our club presidents, division one athletes, and business entrepreneurs are able to balance work, class, and all the fun that college and Alpha Phi have to offer.

On a personal note, Alpha Phi has offered me the friendships, the sisterhood, and the unyielding encouragement and support necessary to flourish at UCLA. My time in this house has enabled me to grow into a more confident, more ambitious woman; developments that would not have happened had I not been an Alpha Phi. It is nothing short of a privilege to lead our impressive group and have access to such a unique leadership experience at a mere 21 years old. Making and working alongside friends to ensure our organization is running smoothly has taught me invaluable lessons in leadership and communication that will continue to serve me long after my time as a Bruin. I am so lucky to say these friends have made my time at UCLA the best years of my life, and I have Alpha Phi to thank for these friendships that will last a lifetime.
